Then Deep End Pools have a fantastic opportunity for you! As a Trainee Pool Technician you will be client facing, dealing day to day with our elite clientele as directed by the Senior Service Manager to ensure their pools and spas are clean, serviced and optimum water chemistry is achieved to allow them to indulge in the opulent luxury of their wet leisure facilities. You will begin your career in wet leisure by shadowing a Pool Technician / Pool Engineer to ensure you have the necessary skills and experience to look after your own clients upon successful completion of this initial induction period. We would expect the successful trainee to achieve Pool Technician status within 3 months with the possibility of progressing to Pool Engineer and Senior Engineer through continuous, on-going training and development.

The successful applicant will be physically fit and able to carry out their duties, be ‘hands on’, practically minded, and have a high degree of common sense. You will need to be presentable, have excellent customer service skills, be self-motivated and ultimately take pride in and be responsible for your work. You must hold a valid, current driving license to be considered. We offer an attractive remuneration package which includes a company van after satisfactory completion of the training period.

As a Pool Engineer you will be client facing, dealing day to day with our elite clientele to service, maintain and install all aspects of wet leisure equipment. You will be given a company vehicle to carry out your duties, as directed by the Senior Service Manager. Duties include refurbishment works, modifications and all associated works with swimming pools and wet leisure products and equipment. You will be a key member of our expanding team of professionals as we look to increase our business to its maximum potential in terms of service, quality, and building excellence.

Part of you duties as a Deep End Pools Pool Engineer will be to train and mentor Trainee Pool Technicians in line with our newly created Training Programme. Leak detection and sonar testing experience. Liner installation. Cover installation. Dosing system experience, both commercial and domestic. Domestic and commercial saunas and steam rooms. You will be appointed to the position of Swimming Pool Builder, and in this capacity you will report directly to the Directors.
In the role of Swimming Pool Builder, your key responsibilities involve a wide variety of tasks comprising, but not limited to, working from 3D and CAD drawings, carrying out a range of construction based tasks for projects in the South West region. Working in a small swimming pool building team you must be self motivated have a keen eye and exemplary attention to detail.

The Following skills are essential:
• Tiling
• Brick Laying
• Paving
• Working with and efficient use of excavators
• Time Management
