Another Hot tub Dimension.. What could it be?

For many years now at Deep End Pools we have practiced what we have preached, yes hot tub ownership. However now having owned a hot tub for over five years I had never thought until this evening another dimension could have been added to the hot tub sensory experience!
Our Hot tub of choice within our home has been a Marquis Spa, the Promise. An all seater hot tub dual speed pump high glow filtration system, with the potential of a blistering 40 degree heat, and enough jets to deal with the everyday stresses and strains of modern life, and enough internal space to be close to loved ones however still achieve a good personal space when needed!
Yes it has lighting, yes we have hot tub audio and for many years we have added spa essence in the form of oils and crystals for aromatherapy, however until now we had never used Candle spa essence!
And wow what an evening for years we have actively marketed and spa candles and sold, them albeit in few numbers, However this evening following a calming spring day in 2011 and the stunning weather we have experienced in the past few days, following the burst of Snowdrops, Crocuses and the recent bloom of the Daffodils and early blossom alerts our senses are a burst with essence and with this in mind, at 5.30pm today I brushed some dust from the old stock candle spa essence and took them home!
After the mundane weekly soaps and the news alerts mainly consisting of the traumatic times endured by those in Japan we took to the tub! Armed with the Spa Candles, it was after some 25mins I had to remind Naomi “can you still smell the candles?” I asked “yes” she replied to somewhat of a surprise, As many of you know even our best spa crystals and oils can last all but 20 minutes or so, however after some 30 minutes the Spa hot tub accessory candles burnt the night away producing some wonderful aroma’s
What can we say after all this time of Hot tub ownership never would we have thought the power of Aromatherapy could have been so wonderful, highly recommended to all

Marquis Spa on a Calm Evening with Essence Candles

Deep End Pools of Beaconsfield Buckinghamshire and Taplow, Berkshire scooped up 3 gold awards at the 2011 annual Pool and Spa awards ceremonies.


Deep End Pools had a massive presence of Swimming Pool and Spa installations in many category of the awards.


The 2011 SPATA swimming pool awards were a very special awards as it was the 50th anniversary of SPATA (the Swimming Pool & Allied Trade Association) and The 10th Anniversary of BISTHA (the British & Irish Spa & Hot Tub Association).


This was the perfect SPATA & BISHTA for Deep End Pools to scoop our first Gold Installation gongs.


The first Gold Award was The Aquaflex Liner Pools up to £30,000 for a Deep End Pools swimming pool installation in Burnham, Buckinghamshire. The concrete liner pool with Ardoise Pool surround really impressed the judges.



The second Gold Award was The Plastica Liner Pools over £30,000 for a Deep End Pools swimming pool installation in Cookham Dean, Berkshire. The concrete insulated form onsite liner pool with black granite swimming pool surround and premium lighting package was second to none.


We then picked up a gong for Non Traditional Pool installation with the 2010 Big Brother 11 Swirl Pool Installtion. The extremely unique styling and funky pebbled surround combined with a large pebbled swimming pool surround.


We then scooped up a BISHTA Gold Residential Portable Hot Tub Below £5,000 for a riverside spa installation in Christchurch Dorset. The half sunk in installation with beautiful riverside views wowwed the judges and took the gold prize with ease.


Deep End Pools were amazed by the results and were literally speechless. The awards are an amazing result and really give all of the Deep End Pools team a massive reward for all of our extremely hard work.

The 2008 Big Brother 9 Swimming pool was a timber framed design with its main feature being the timber deck that surrounds the pool. The pool was the centre piece of the 2008 series of Big Brother.

Big Brother 10 in 2009 featured a swimming pool that was hidden for the first few weeks of the housemates entering. The swimming pool has a lot of unique design features that were a first for our suppliers as well as us.

Firstly the Big Brother 2010 swimming pool was a  parallelogram that made for some interesting liner fitting.

Secondly the centre of the swimming pools wall around the whole shell were translucent to allow for multi coloured lighting behind the swimming pools walls. This meant that the walls also featured some heavy duty perspex to cope with the pressure of the swimming pools water.

The pool was hidden underneath a blue decking until all housemates were official Big Brother housemates.

The annual swimming pool awards were held in Brighton’s Hilton Hotel on Sunday. The most prestegous awards of the swimming pool calander are one of the only times of the year that you will get all of the UK’s top swimming pool companies together in one room.

We as a swimming pool service company do everything with in our powers to prevent a swimming pool from turning green. But nowaday’s the term green has taken a more positive meaning when referring to swimming pools.

Air source heat pumps have become one of the most popular and efficient ways to heat swimming pools over the past few years.

Many at first were sceptical and unwilling to trust these ‘reverse fridge’ units. Installation of you Air Source Heat Pump

You have almost deceided that you need an Air Source Heat Pump in your Swimming Pool set up, but are unsure of the amount of work required to install the new Air Source Heat Pump.

We install the Air Source Heat Pump on an existing area, i.e patio or shed base

or

Simply make a new concrete plinth for your Air Source Heat Pump to stand on.

Next a Deep End Pools Service Engineer will come and plumb in the Air Source Heat Pump once it has been positioned on the firm level base.

A simple electrical connection will then be made (can again be arranged by Deep End Pools).

Then once the glue joints have set you have your Air Source Heat Pump ready to turn on and set to your desired temperature.
